Common Issues and Solutions
Solving CLMS Problems
Like any system, CLMS occasionally presents challenges. Knowing how to troubleshoot common issues will save you time and frustration.
Login Problems
Cannot Remember Password
- Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page
- Check your email for reset instructions
- If that does not work, contact your lodge Secretary
Account Locked
- Too many failed login attempts may lock your account
- Wait 30 minutes and try again
- Or contact support for immediate unlock
Cannot Access DAP Section
- Your account may not have DAP permissions
- Ask your lodge Secretary to verify your role assignment
- You may need to be designated as DAP Chair in the system
Data Entry Issues
Entry Will Not Save
- Check for required fields you may have missed
- Verify date format is correct
- Try a different browser if problems persist
- Do not close the window—copy your data first in case you need to re-enter
Duplicate Entries
- If you accidentally created a duplicate, delete the extra
- Look for a "Delete" or "Remove" option on the activity
- If you cannot delete, contact your State Chair for help
Wrong Data Entered
- Most entries can be edited—find the "Edit" button
- Make corrections and save
- If entry is locked, contact your District or State Chair
Report Problems
Report Shows Wrong Numbers
- Verify date range is correct
- Check that you selected the right lodge
- Ensure activities were saved properly
- Look for entries that might be miscategorized
Report Will Not Generate
- Try a shorter date range
- Refresh the page and try again
- Try a different browser
- Report to technical support if problem persists
Browser and Technical Issues
- Use a modern, updated browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
- Clear browser cache if pages are not loading correctly
- Disable ad blockers that might interfere
- Ensure stable internet connection
When to Escalate
Contact technical support when:
- Basic troubleshooting does not resolve the issue
- You encounter error messages you do not understand
- Data appears corrupted or missing
- System is consistently unavailable
